19 Secret Strategies of eBay Powersellers, Part 3

As you have not already heard, millions upon millions of people buying and selling on eBay every day. Some only make a few sales here and there. Others have figured out what it takes to become "Powersellers." PowerSellers are a very small minority of eBay sellers who do not at least $ 2,000 a month selling on eBay and maintain a 99% positive feedback rating. Powersellers are the ones that really know what they are doing, and if you really want to be successful on eBay then follow the secrets are revealed to me.

So, what are the secrets, tips and tricks that will cause you to become a Powerseller as well?

Well, I'll be totally honest with you ... I could be well on my way, but I still Powerseller. However, one thing I know from creating several successful businesses is that if you want to become the best at something, you have to copy those who are already successful, ask them to mentor you and ask questions and take notes. And now I'll take what I had been taught and passed on to you.

This is part three of the four-part series of articles. You'll find links to other parts of this article series at the end of this article.

THE SECRET STRATEGY # 12 - anything and everything to make your customers happy ... Even if it means losing money on the deal!

Of course, we all heard "the customer is always right!" On eBay is still true. Here's something weird that you probably do not know: when a customer tells others that the company or the product sucked, people would say are 5 times more likely than the person who told them not to do business with this company or buy that product. Five times more likely than people who actually bought the thing!

Now, on eBay is even more important as the seller to make sure that you keep a positive result, because any potential buyer can see the negative reviews left for you. In addition, for every 1% (for sellers who have a rating in 1000) are the error goes down, you lose 11% of the deals. So every Powerseller said that their score is more important than money to lose from a deal. Personally, I can tell you that I know that several suppliers have purchased my product information and then asked for their money back, even though I know they still use the product (FYI, there are certain tricks you can use to make money from even those that are torn .)

I highly recommend that you subscribe to SquareTrade and register for the Better Business Bureau online if you qualify. I'm sure you're familiar with the BBB, so let's talk about SquareTrade. SquareTrade has been working with eBay pretty much since eBay started and they are eBay certified partner.

Basically, what they do is mediate disputes with customers, but even more useful now to explore the negative feedback soon as the buyer leaves it for you and they are working with eBay to remove negative feedback that is malicious (ie . your competition buys a product just leave negative feedback.) If it is found that negative feedback is indeed caused by the seller, they are trying to do a resolution with the customer, so that negative feedback can be removed.

Many Powersellers have subscribed to SquareTrade for years and they told me that it pretty much pays for itself immediately, because when customers see the SquareTrade logo at the list that the seller makes every attempt to ensure that their customers are completely satisfied. Furthermore, I believe, like all the Powersellers that I spoke with, that you should always offer a strong guarantee. I, for one, offers a 180-day, no hassle, satisfaction, money-back guarantee on any information product that I have written at least a 30-day warranty on everything else. One thing that we do not do is provide "100% Money Back" guarantee though, if a customer asks for all your money back, I give them exactly what you want. What I do is always send them an email telling them that they will keep the product since it does not in any way, we make sure that they are not used. Most of the time looking for 25-75% of your money back, but very rarely look for 100% of your money back.

Also, most natural products Powersellers require that items be returned in original condition. And they charge a restocking fee for all returned items. But remember that your customer satisfaction is always replaced by these rules. Just keep this in mind: your feedback rating is your best advertisement, but can also be your greatest downfall. Never let your emotions are on the way and always 200% sure that your customer leaves happy ... Even if you bribe them with extra gifts.
